The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riggs scores with a jab to the jaw.
Riggs tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Borodin defends well and Riggs ends up having to push Borodin into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Riggs throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Borodin walks into a straight right hand from Riggs.
Riggs has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Borodin is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Riggs misses with an uppercut.
Riggs throws a series of strikes that have Borodin backpedaling.
Riggs needs to keep his hands up - Borodin had a free shot at his head there.

It looks like Ryan Riggs has been cut.
Borodin has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cats Killers Academy Mma in the buildup to the fight.
Borodin lands a jab to Riggs's midsection.
Borodin throws a looping overhand right but Riggs ducks down to avoid it.
And Riggs tries to counter it with a takedown but Borodin pushes his down on his head and steps out.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Borodin bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Riggs's head.
Borodin misses with a body shot.
A jab lands there for Riggs.
Riggs tests Borodin's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Borodin swings for the body but Riggs moves out of range.
Riggs swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Riggs lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

and Borodin counters with a crisp right hand that drops Riggs! Borodin lets Riggs back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Riggs jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Riggs seems to have recovered his senses.
Riggs goes for a double leg but Borodin avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Borodin continues to drive forward.

A swing and a miss from Riggs.
Borodin throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Riggs sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Borodin has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Borodin there as he acknowledges the shot.
Borodin takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Riggs moves away from the strike by Borodin.
Riggs switches off momentarily and Borodin cracks him with a monster right hand! Riggs topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Borodin dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Borodin!
