Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Snow (ranked 772 p4p, 115 weight class) and Emet Golem (ranked 694 p4p, 103 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Snow!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Emet Golem!
The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Franklyn Lucas and Anthony Taglia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Golem does no damage.
Golem has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Snow is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Snow throws a sloppy head kick and Golem moves out of range easily.
Snow is trying hard to land a takedown here. Golem sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Snow throws a lazy right hand but Golem sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
A swing and a miss from Golem.
Golem misses with a combination

and Snow counters with a single leg into guard. Golem didn't expect that.
Snow prevents Golem from getting back to his feet.
Snow trying to control but Golem is working from the bottom.
Snow throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Golem works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Golem wants to stand but Snow is controlling the position.
Snow has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Golem being controlled here, momentarily.
Snow trying to control the position from guard on top but Golem is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Snow throwing strikes from guard but Golem blocks nicely.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Snow missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Snow misses with a body shot.
Snow on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Golem throws a series of punches but Snow moves out of range.
Snow displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Golem throws out the jab.

and Snow counters with a single leg into guard. Golem didn't expect that.

Snow slips nicely into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Golem is trying to stand back up but Snow is controlling him

Snow throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Snow thows a huge punch but Golem dodges it nicely.
Snow is just content to waste time from the top position. Golem takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Golem keeping moving, preventing Snow from controlling successfully.
Snow postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Snow wants to control from the top but Golem keeps moving.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Snow shoots in looking for a takedown but Golem manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Snow's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Golem cracks Snow with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Golem keeps the fight on the outside.
Golem slips a jab from Snow.
Golem wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Golem lands a right hook to the body.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Golem connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Golem throws out a loose jab but Snow uses good head movement to avoid it.
Snow misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Golem fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Snow manages to avoid it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Golem changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Golem lands a glancing blow to the side of Snow's head.
Golem misses with a looping left.
Snow takes a body punch but keeps moving.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Golem tests Snow's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Snow moves into the clinch successfully.
Snow misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Snow tries to break free but Golem pushes him back against the cage.
Golem lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Golem swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Snow blocking some punches.
Snow blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
Golem pushes Snow back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Golem lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Snow blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Golem scores with a shoulder strike.
A shot in the inside from Golem.
Snow blocking some punches.
Snow fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Snow blocks an uppercut.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Emet Golem dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Golem misses with a looping right.
Golem has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Snow throws a head kick that misses.
Snow's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Golem connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Snow scrambles back to his feet.
Golem lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Golem ducks under a wild hook from Snow.
Snow gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Nice straight punches there by Golem. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Golem.
Golem lands with a big left! Snow is wobbled badly! Golem comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Snow to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Emet Golem!
An out of breath Emet Golem thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
