Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dickie Taint (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henry Bafana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taint kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Eye of the Tiger. Henry Bafana has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Dickie Taint's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bafana has a takedown stuffed.

Bafana drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Bafana tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Bafana is trying to get an arm triangle but Taint is defending well.

Taint looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bafana with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Taint is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Bafana!
Bafana is in a horrible position here. Taint smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Bafana takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Bafana bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Bafana thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Bafana drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bafana jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Bafana is trying to drag Taint to the mat but Taint just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Bafana closes the distance and clinches up with Taint, looking for a takedown. Bafana pushes Taint against the cage but Taint circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Taint feints and as Bafana raises his hands in defense, Taint changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Bafana has his foot on Taint's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Taint works his way back into a safe position though.

Bafana had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Taint is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Bafana Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Taint's back instead.

Bafana is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.

Bafana is looking for a choke. Taint gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Taint manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard.
