Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Broderick Hammerness (ranked 2396 p4p, 330 weight class) and Kelvin Handleman (ranked 4459 p4p, 530 weight class). Hammerness comes to the cage accompanied by Man in the Mirror - Michael Jackson. Handleman has chosen Pride FC Theme as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kelvin Handleman!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Wesley Smith.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Handleman gets cracked there but stands up to it.


It looks like Kelvin Handleman has been cut.
Handleman scores with a three punch combo!


It looks like Broderick Hammerness has been cut.

Handleman drives through with a takedown into Hammerness's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Handleman trying to control but Hammerness is working from the bottom.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Hammerness looks to score with a jab to the body but Handleman is just out of range.

Handleman fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hammerness looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Handleman misses with a looping right.
Hammerness lands a jab to the nose.
Hammerness throws a hook but Handleman blocks it.
Handleman scores with a punch to the head.
Handleman uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hammerness.

Handleman fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Hammerness sprawls well initially but Handleman persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Handleman thows a huge punch but Hammerness dodges it nicely.

Handleman looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Handleman thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hammerness's head.
Handleman wants to pass to mount but Hammerness is defending the position.

Hammerness has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Handleman is looking to take a break and control but Hammerness is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Handleman throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Handleman looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Hammerness with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Hammerness knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Handleman on the ground.
Handleman seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Handleman not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Hammerness wants to control but Handleman is keeping busy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kelvin Handleman dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.

Horrible takedown attempt by Handleman or perhaps it was just good defense by Hammerness, which made it look bad.

Handleman is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Hammerness's half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Handleman thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hammerness won't allow Handleman to pass to mount.

Handleman winds up and cracks Hammerness with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Handleman wants to work for an arm triangle but Hammerness is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Handleman lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Hammerness quite badly. Hammerness pulls Handleman in close trying to recover. Handleman postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Hammerness on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Hammerness doesn't seem to be complaining too much.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kelvin Handleman!

Broderick Hammerness was interviewed post fight and said 'He was the better man today, but i will be back better than ever!'.
