Cruz fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Vovchanchyn to the ground. Cruz is now in Vovchanchyn's guard.
Cruz makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Vovchanchyn looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Cruz is defending well. Vovchanchyn quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Cruz has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast!
