Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gerald Butler!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Armstrong misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
As Armstrong backs off Butler throws a huge counter combo but Armstrong manages to avoid it all.
Armstrong shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

And Butler tries to counter it with a takedown but Armstrong pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Butler fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Armstrong to the ground. Butler is now in Armstrong's guard.

Armstrong has his feet on Butler's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.

That's time! Armstrong's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Armstrong is fighting off a takedown attempt but Butler is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Armstrong to the mat. Armstrong regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
