PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Oleg Liguy (ranked 7356 p4p, 626 weight class) and Jose Barbosa (ranked 21982 p4p, 698 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Liguy closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Barbosa to the mat! Barbosa manages to get full guard.

Barbosa pushes Liguy away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Liguy gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.

Barbosa is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Liguy softens up his opponent with a couple of shots there and then CRACK! One massive shot lands there and Barbosa is out cold! Liguy jumps to his feet and celebrates on the cage with the fans, who are, quite frankly, going absolutely mental!
