Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Wilner Fatiman (ranked 3023 p4p, 270 weight class) and Monkey Straw Hat (ranked 3594 p4p, 308 weight class). Fatiman's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Zion Train. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Straw Hat. No joy for Fatiman on that attempt.
Straw Hat is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Fatiman tries for a takedown but Straw Hat sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Fatiman forces Straw Hat back against the cage and clinches.
We've been hearing reports that Fatiman has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Straw Hat.
Straw Hat throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Fatiman is looking for a takedown.

Fatiman has Straw Hat pressed against the cage, preventing Straw Hat from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Fatiman wants the takedown. Straw Hat is fighting it off but Fatiman persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Straw Hat's guard against the cage.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Straw Hat controls Fatiman momentarily but Fatiman frees himself.

Fatiman's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Fatiman has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Fatiman is in close to Straw Hat's body, working some short punches and elbows.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Straw Hat can do anything to dispel that myth.
Straw Hat tries to roll over but Fatiman keeps him under control.
Fatiman is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Fatiman works his way into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A lull in the action here as Fatiman stalls from top position.
Fatiman has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Straw Hat can't do much from the bottom here.

Fatiman has hold of Straw Hat's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Straw Hat tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Fatiman cranks the arm and Straw Hat screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Straw Hat, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
