PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Misko Raznatovic (ranked 24938 p4p, 701 weight class) and Henning Lind (ranked 24012 p4p, 740 weight class). Lind has chosen War of the Gods as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Henning Lind!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Damien Edna and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice cross by Lind.

Lind drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Raznatovic explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Lind fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lind bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Raznatovic! He dives into his guard looking to finish!

Raznatovic is rocked!

Lind is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Raznatovic is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Raznatovic has escaped and now he's on top!

Lind preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Raznatovic thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Lind pushes Raznatovic off and scrambles back to his feet.

Lind shoots in and bounces Raznatovic off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Lind postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Raznatovic is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Lind, into his guard.

Lind wants to stand up but Raznatovic is controlling him.

Raznatovic keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Lind's head.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Lind has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Raznatovic off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Lind tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Raznatovic defends well and Lind ends up having to push Raznatovic into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Raznatovic is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Lind.

Henning Lind seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lind keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Lind lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Lind's corner calls for a 1-2. Lind obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

Lind misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.

A decent looking cross lands there for Lind.
Oh Raznatovic is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Raznatovic shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lind as he avoids it easily.
And Lind tries to counter it with a takedown but Raznatovic pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Raznatovic fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lind, pushing him back against the cage.
Raznatovic seems to have got his legs back now.
Lind tries for a takedown but Raznatovic manages to get underhooks.

Lind breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lind moves into range and connects with a jab.

Lind shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Raznatovic's guard.
Raznatovic is breathing heavily.
Lind with a nice head shot there.
Lind wants to control from the top but Raznatovic keeps moving.
Lind passes Raznatovic's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Lind is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Raznatovic defends it well.

Raznatovic makes his way to full guard, as Lind worked for a kimura.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Lind has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Raznatovic has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.
Lind has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Raznatovic is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Lind wants to take the fight to the mat but Raznatovic manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Raznatovic is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Lind bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Lind uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Raznatovic slaps away a takedown attempt from Lind, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Henning Lind seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Raznatovic tries to clinch but Lind is having none of it.
Lind tries to counter with a clinch but Raznatovic shakes him off and moves away.
Lind tests Raznatovic's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Good exchange - Lind coming out on top.
Lind closes this distance looking for a takedown but Raznatovic circles away.
Lind has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
A telegraphed right hand from Raznatovic misses the target.
Lind might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Raznatovic drops his hands momentarily and Lind takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Lind feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Raznatovics jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A slapping body kick lands there for Lind.
Lind fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Raznatovic avoids it really well and circles away.
Lind just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromRaznatovic.

Raznatovic with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Lind to score with a decent uppercut.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Raznatovic stands up and beckons Lind to his feet.

Lind goes for a double leg but Raznatovic avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Raznatovic continues to drive forward.
Lind lands a jab to the nose.
Raznatovic drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Lind swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Raznatovic.

Lind is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Raznatovic has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Lind is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.

Raznatovic thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Lind wants to get back to his feet but Raznatovic drags him back down.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Raznatovic looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Lind connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Lind sizes up Raznatovic with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Raznatovic's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Lind connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Raznatovic scrambles back to his feet.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
