Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Kasa Panos (ranked 3039 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby McBarz (ranked 5368 p4p, 90 weight class). McBarz has chosen Pharrell - How does it feel? as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Kasa Panos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 17 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bobby McBarz!
The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, David Schapiro and Joseph Jones.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Panos stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Panos thuds his shin into the meat of McBarz's side.
A telegraphed right hand from Panos misses the target.
McBarz misses with a jab, cross combination.

Panos rushes McBarz and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
McBarz tries to circle away but Panos has him pinned against the cage.

Panos's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
McBarz wants to break the clinch but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Panos will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning McBarz up against the cage.

The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Panos for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.

That's one minute gone in the round.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Panos.

McBarz has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Panos seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if McBarz can turn it around.

Panos escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
McBarz lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Panos circles away quickly and effectively.
McBarz fails to land with a series of punches.
McBarz looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
McBarz walks forward, straight into a front kick from Panos.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
McBarz comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
McBarz on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Panos. Panos obviously looking to wear him down.
McBarz cracks Panos with a good jab.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McBarz throws a looping overhand right but Panos ducks down to avoid it.
Panos was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Panos seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. McBarz shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Panos is backing up but McBarz catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Panos covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! McBarz Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bobby McBarz!
A very excited looking Bobby McBarz rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
