The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

SKyy has managed to clinch.
SKyy fails to pull the fight into his guard.
SKyy tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Thompson smiles and moves away.

Thompson closes the distance and pushes SKyy back into the cage.
Thompson prevents SKyy from breaking the clinch.
SKyy wants a takedown.
Alonso Thompson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vernon SKyy.
Thompson tries a knee to the head but SKyy blocks it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Thompson breaks the clinch.
SKyy looks to land a body kick but Thompson moved away.

Thompson gets tackled into the cage by SKyy. SKyy maintains the clinch.
SKyy tries to circle away but Thompson has him pinned against the cage.

Thompson breaks from the clinch.

SKyy closes the distance and clinches.
SKyy has had enough of the clinch but Thompson keeps him there for the moment.

Thompson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

SKyy lands a left and a right that send Thompson crashing to the mat, dazed. SKyy thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Thompson is rocked!

It looks like Alonso Thompson has been cut.
SKyy grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Thompson takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! SKyy cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
