Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robo Pope (ranked 16242 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hussein Stahl (ranked 4505 p4p, 0 weight class). Pope comes to the cage accompanied by Ghost - Monstrance Clock. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stahl lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

It looks like Robo Pope has been cut.
Pope looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Stahl instigates a clinch.

Stahl has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Pope regains guard immediately.
Stahl sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Stahl pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Pope is keeping the position for now.

Stahl thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Stahl postures up and lands a big shot to Pope's brow.
Pope can't keep his opponent in guard - Stahl advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Stahl in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Pope tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Stahl!

Hussein Stahl was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
