Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Kent Guerrero (ranked 25863 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ddp Cutter (ranked 6017 p4p, 254 weight class). Ddp Cutter has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Kent Guerrero's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kent Guerrero!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ddp Cutter!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Shirou Masuda and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Guerrero scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Cutter throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Cutter pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Ddp Cutter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A looping hook to the body misses from Cutter. Guerrero does a little dance to reset his feet.
Cutter shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Guerrero sprawls well. Guerrero wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Cutter gets slowly back to his feet.

Cutter leaves Guerrero with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Guerrero shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Cutter napping and manages to drive through into side control!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Cutter wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

Guerrero cracks Cutter with a big right hand but Cutter just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Cutter takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Guerrero is staying tight to Cutter's torso, preventing him from escaping.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Both fighters take a look at the clock.
Guerrero lands a decent elbow from side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Guerrero wants to take a breather but Cutter manages to regain guard - a lesson learnt for Guerrero.
Cutter wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Guerrero won't allow Cutter to sweep him here.

Guerrero wants to control from the top but Cutter keeps moving.
Guerrero is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Cutter is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Cutter is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Cutter looking for a sweep. Not yet Cutter, not yet.
Guerrero wants to pass the guard but Cutter is keeping the position.
Cutter throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Cutter wants to stand up but Guerrero is controlling him.

Cutter escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Guerrero gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Guerrero is in close to Cutter's body, working some short punches and elbows.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Guerrero stops Cutter from standing up.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Cutter trying to punch from his back but it's not doing any damage.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Guerrero closes this distance looking for a takedown but Cutter circles away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kent Guerrero. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Cutter tries to counter with a clinch but Guerrero shakes him off and moves away.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Cutter.
Guerrero is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Cutter is looking to take a break and control but Guerrero is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Cutter tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Guerrero could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Cutter looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ddp Cutter dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


Guerrero shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cutter as he jumps to the side.
Cutter shoots in looking for a takedown but Guerrero manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Cutter's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cutter shoots in but no luck this time.
Guerrero looks for a takedown but Cutter sprawls well.
Guerrero scores with a jab. Cutter acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Cutter changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Guerrero looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Guerrero tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Cutter swivels and escapes.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Guerrero shoots in but no luck this time.

Cutter shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Cutter was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Cutter is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Guerrero looks calm but he's in trouble here. Cutter gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Guerrero is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Cutter lets go of the hold and Guerrero can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Ddp Cutter!
