Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Daniel Bishop and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clowsley shoots for a double leg takedown but Mondo sprawls well. He's pushed Clowsley's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Nice takedown defense from Mondo. No joy for Clowsley on that attempt.
Mondo clinches with his opponent.
Mondo breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Mondo shoots in and bounces Clowsley off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Mondo is looking to stand up but Clowsley won't let him.

Mondo wants to control from the top but Clowsley keeps moving.

Clowsley has his foot on Mondo's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Mondo works his way back into a safe position though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mondo throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Clowsley works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Clowsley has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mondo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Mondo has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Clowsley has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Mondo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Mondo lands a nice short elbow.
Clowsley manages to get to full guard.
Clowsley had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Mondo is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Clowsley Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Mondo's back instead.
Mondo tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Mondo is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Mondo is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Clowsley wants to finish this one by submission but Mondo is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Clowsley.
Mondo sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Mondo wants to control but Clowsley is keeping busy.
Clowsley looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Mondo is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Clowsley is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Clowsley is working for a submission of some sort.
Clowsley is looking for a kimura but Mondo is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Clowsley to get the leverage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rowan Clowsley dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Mondo throws a right and a left that both miss.
Clowsley doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Mondo counters with a takedown into side control.
Mondo stands up.

Mondo drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Mondo has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Clowsley is proving hard to escape from.
Mondo throwing strikes from guard but Clowsley blocks nicely.
Clowsley looking for a triangle here. Mondo is fighting it but it looks tight! Clowsley pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Mondo is tapping out - this one is all over!
