Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Emil Fisker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Te Guruma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Guruma's choice of entrance music: A Tear In The Open. Te Guruma is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Te Guruma!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Glass and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fisker steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Guruma. That one must have hurt.
Guruma dodges the punch combination from Fisker.
Guruma moves in looking to clinch but Fisker pushes him off.
Guruma lands a jab-cross combination.
Fisker throws a series of punches but Guruma avoids them all with ease.

Guruma scores with a takedown into Fisker's guard.
Guruma wanted to stand there but Fisker had control of the position.
Fisker tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Guruma throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Fisker shoots in looking for a takedown. Guruma tries to sprawl out of it but Fisker keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Guruma manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Fisker will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Fisker is taking a breather. Guruma says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Fisker is pressing down on Guruma's thigh, looking to free his foot. Guruma is holding on for now.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Fisker in particular looking to stall.

Fisker has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Guruma avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Fisker, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
