Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dersik Guldurson!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some bone on bone action there as Morin checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Morin tries to keep at a distance but Guldurson has taken the fight into the clinch.
Morin is working for takedown but Guldurson is calmly controlling the position for now.
Guldurson is pressed up against the cage. Morin has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Guldurson down to the mat. Guldurson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Guldurson fails in his attempt to clinch.
Guldurson avoids the head kick by Morin.
Guldurson is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Morin tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Guldurson swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Josue Morin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Morin avoids a low kick by using good footwork.

Guldurson instigates a clinch.
Morin has Guldurson pressed against the cage, preventing Guldurson from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Morin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Guldurson tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Morin manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Guldurson misses with a few strikes there.
It looked like Morin wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Morin looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Morin decides to stand and escape the position.
Guldurson works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Guldurson throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Morin appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Dersik Guldurson is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Morin shoots in but Guldurson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Guldurson doesn't manage to clinch there - Morin circles away.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Guldurson.
Morin moves out of range of the body kick.
A quick step to the side and Morin tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Guldurson is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Ouch! a nice leg kick from Guldurson, right into the meat.
Morin has his takedown stuffed

and Guldurson holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Guldurson lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Morin or not.
Morin keeps control of Guldurson as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.

Morin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Guldurson has Morin up against the cage in a clinch.

Morin pulls guard successfully.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Guldurson wants to get up but he can't break Morin's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Morin looking to hit a scissor sweep but Guldurson is one step ahead there.
Morin has Guldurson pulled in close to control his posture.
Guldurson trying to control the position from guard on top but Morin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Guldurson is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Guldurson wanted to stand there but Morin had control of the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dersik Guldurson dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Josue Morin's cut.

Guldurson feints a jab promting Morin to slip. Guldurson then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Morin slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Morin tries to close the distance and clinch but Guldurson swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Guldurson scores with a three punch combo!
Morin gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Morin tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Guldurson is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Morin buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Morin!! Morin is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Guldurson throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
