Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tomb clinches.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Tomb pushes Holland off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.
Tomb tries to score a power double leg takedown but Holland sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Tomb somewhat.

Holland has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Tomb after a bit of a struggle.
Mike Tomb seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.

Tomb has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Holland uses from the top position.

Holland jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tomb walks away with a smile on his face. Holland gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

It looked like Holland was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Tomb.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tomb feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
