The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Senas throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Juarez was covering up waiting for the punch and Senas finishes the takedown easily into guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Juarez looks up at the clock and then as Senas takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Juarez smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Juarez has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Senas really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Juarez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
