Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jed Knight (ranked 2396 p4p, 274 weight class) and Frankie Logan (ranked 1853 p4p, 225 weight class). Jed Knight could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Frankie Logan's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Logan punishes Knight's body with a nice straight punch.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Logan! But no joy.

Logan does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

No joy there for Knight, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Logan throws out a counter right but Knight avoids it with no problem.
We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Logan in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Logan cracks Knight with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Knight tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Logan pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Knight is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
