Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Anzhor Azhiev (ranked 8808 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alessio Correha (ranked 2809 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Azhiev shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Azhiev wants to work for an arm triangle but Correha is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Correha gets back to full guard.

Azhiev drops back looking for a leg! Correha is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Correha manages to kick Azhiev off! Azhiev jumps back into Correha's guard.

Correha is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Correha is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Azhiev has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Correha. Oh but Azhiev has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Correha goes limp - he's gone! Azhiev jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

A pretty intense looking Anzhor Azhiev took the opportunity post-fight to ask for a shot at the title.
