The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dank gets a double leg takedown into Wade's guard.
Dank is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Wade is trying to control the position but Dank postures up.
Dank controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Wade really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Wade looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Dank puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Dank in particular looking to stall.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Dank tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Dank shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Dank showed some decent athleticism there.
Dank is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Wade in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Dank is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Wade can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
