Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alex Silva (ranked 1894 p4p, 100 weight class) and Dohn Jodson (ranked 1452 p4p, 73 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva shoots in but Jodson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Alex Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Silva remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.

Silva shoots in looking for a takedown but Jodson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Silva's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
