Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between George Montgomery (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Manny Brooks (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brooks tries to clinch up but Montgomery circles away and keeps his distance.
Some bone on bone action there as Montgomery checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Brooks throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.

Montgomery shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Montgomery was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Brooks is wriggling around trying to escape.

Montgomery won't let Brooks get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Brooks is looking to improve his position but Montgomery isn't that keen on the idea.

Brooks wants to get back to his feet.
Montgomery scoring with strikes but Brooks is staying in there.
Montgomery lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Montgomery controlling the pace for now.
Brooks is squirming around, avoiding Montgomery's attempts to control the action.
Brooks trying desperately to get to his feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Brooks throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
Brooks tries to buck Montgomery off but he can't manage it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brooks looks gassed!

Montgomery stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing.
Brooks misses with a wild combination.

Montgomery forces Brooks back against the cage and clinches.
A looping hook to the body misses from Brooks. Montgomery does a little dance to reset his feet.
Brooks darts in trying to clinch

and Montgomery counters by clinching up.

Brooks breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Brooks closes the distance but Montgomery moves to the side

and Montgomery moves into the clinch.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Brooks landing knees to the body.

Montgomery turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Montgomery manages to end up in side control.
Brooks is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Montgomery asserts his dominance and retains side control.
The referee asks Montgomery politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Montgomery prefers to stall for the moment though.

Brooks trying to control but Montgomery flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!

Montgomery has the hooks in. Brooks is starting to panic. He's trying to push off one of the legs but he's left his neck open to attack. Montgomery passes his arm under Brooks's neck and tightens up a rear naked choke! This one is surely all over! Yes, Brooks taps!
