Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Takeshi Watanabe (ranked 9438 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cho Yong Seung (ranked 5901 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Takeshi Watanabe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Cho Yong Seung!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yuuki Gou and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Seung shoots for a takedown but Watanabe saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
It looked like Watanabe was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Seung.

Watanabe pushes Seung up against the cage in a clinch.
Seung on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Watanabe is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Seung to keep the fight standing.
Seung is trying to drag Watanabe to the mat but Watanabe just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Seung jumps into guard, dragging Watanabe to the mat.
Watanabe throws a strike but Seung rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Watanabe is looking to stand up but Seung isn't so interested in that idea.

Seung is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Watanabe pulls Seung in close to prevent any damage.
Seung controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Seung stands up from Watanabe's guard - Seung perhaps looking for a knockout.

Seung shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Watanabe manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Watanabe is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Seung slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Seung has hold of Watanabe's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Watanabe tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Seung cranks the arm and Watanabe screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Watanabe, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
