The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Matheus Silva and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonalves misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
A clash of legs there as Felagund blocks the low kick.
Gonalves misses with a low kick.
Felagund looks to land a combination but Gonalves avoids it well.
Felagund scores with a crisp jab that stopped Gonalves in his tracks.
It looks like Alviero Gonalves has been cut.
Gonalves throws a body kick that misses.
A combination from Felagund does no damage.
Felagund throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Felagund checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.

Gonalves misses with an attempted mid kick.
Felagund throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Gonalves swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Felagund catches Gonalves napping and connects with a big right hand that sends Gonalves to the canvas!
Gonalves is rocked!

Gonalves is still in real trouble! Can Felagund finish him?
Gonalves is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Felagund working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Gonalves's head.
Gonalves seems to have recovered his senses.
Felagund throwing strikes but missing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Gonalves tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Felagund avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Gonalves working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Felagund doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Felagund manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Gonalves wants to sweep but no luck.
Felagund makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Gonalves had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Felagund is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Gonalves Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Felagund's back instead.
Gonalves is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Felagund taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Gonalves.
