Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, William Gold and Chris Edwards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hawkins clinches up with Alexander and pushes him back against the cage.
Hawkins lands a body shot in the clinch.
Hawkins displaying some good clinch control by pressing Alexander up against the cage.

Alexander's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Hawkins darts in and clinches Alexander up against the cage.
Alexander is trying to pull guard but Hawkins turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.
Hawkins looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Hawkins goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
The referee is keeping an eye on Hawkins - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Hawkins.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Alexander decides to pull guard.
Hawkins stopping the sweep attempt from Alexander.
Alexander doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Alexander looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hawkins is one step ahead there.

Alexander looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Hawkins is defending well. Alexander quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Hawkins has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Alexander celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
