The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anaya keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Motts.

Anaya throws a head kick that misses.
Jab, jab by Anaya - just one landing.
Anaya misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Anaya jabs Motts right on the nose. Motts blinks but takes it well.
Anaya tests Motts's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Anaya lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Motts takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

The fighters circling - Motts throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Che Anaya seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Motts throws the left hand but Anaya avoids the punch easily.
A slow jab from Motts misses its intended target.
Motts should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Anaya misses with a jab, cross combination.
Motts changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Motts throws a hook but Anaya avoids it easily.
Anaya throws a sloppy head kick and Motts moves out of range easily.
Anaya slips a straight right by Motts.

Anaya clinches up against the cage.
Anaya blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Motts tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Anaya just stands there and leans against the cage.

Anaya turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Motts is not content to let Anaya control the position.
Motts tries to buck Anaya off but Anaya is having none of it.
Anaya tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Motts tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Anaya wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Motts is trying to control Anaya's posture but Anaya avoids it.

I wouldn't like to be where Motts is right now.

Motts is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Anaya's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Anaya knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Motts on the ground.

Anaya is posturing up here but Motts has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Anaya tries to roll out but it's too tight and Anaya has to tap! Slick submission there by Motts!
