Hughes throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Taalasmaa on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
It looks like Seppo Taalasmaa has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Taalasmaa tries to close the distance and clinch up but Hughes swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Mark Hughes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hughes drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Taalasmaa right on the button. Taalasmaa goes down! Hughes follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Hughes gets the win via TKO!
