Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Floyd Maybetter (ranked 511 p4p, 65 weight class) and Michael Sullivan (ranked 2408 p4p, 292 weight class). Both these fighters are unbeaten, so somebody's 0 has got to go!These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sullivan throws a combination that misses
and Maybetter counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Michael Sullivan has been cut.
Maybetter cracks Sullivan with a right hand to the side of the head.
Sullivan misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Maybetter counters with a straight right hand.
Maybetter closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Sullivan to the mat! Sullivan manages to get full guard.
Sullivan wants to stand up but Maybetter is controlling him.
Maybetter is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Maybetter stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sullivan swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Sullivan is looking to stand back up but Maybetter counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Sullivan.

Maybetter is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Sullivan is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!

A determined Floyd Maybetter didn't want to dwell on this fight in his post fight interview. Instead he was more keen to state he wants a title shot. Let's see if he gets it!
