PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shit Face (ranked 2721 p4p, 305 weight class) and John Brown (ranked 2887 p4p, 323 weight class). Face comes to the cage accompanied by Blue clear sky. Brown has chosen Some Bodies Gonna Get It as his entrance music. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that John Brown was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Face looks for the body kick but Brown saw that one coming.
Brown drops his hands momentarily and Face takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Brown fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Face avoids it really well and circles away.
Brown throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Face throws out a loose jab but Brown uses good head movement to avoid it.
Face connects with a body shot.
Brown walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Brown moves out of range as Face throws a body kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Face looks for the body kick but Brown saw that one coming.
Brown throws a series of punches but Face avoids them all with ease.
Face swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.

Shit Face seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Face throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Brown on the side of the head.
Face walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Brown checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Brown dives in and grabs Face's left leg, looking for a takedown. Face pushes down on Brown's head and hops out.
