Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shamil Amirov (ranked 6558 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vasyl Bohunslav (ranked 4654 p4p, 0 weight class). Bohunslav comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Love kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Amirov drives through and clinches with Bohunslav against the cage.
Bohunslav looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Amirov decides to pull guard.
Bohunslav passes into half guard under a barage of strikes.
Amirov is looking to control Bohunslav's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Amirov avoid being mounted?
Amirov wants to sweep but Bohunslav has passed to side control!
Amirov tries to bench press Bohunslav off him but Bohunslav keeps the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Amirov is trying to control Bohunslav's posture but Bohunslav avoids it.

Bohunslav thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

You can see the frustration on Amirov's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Amirov tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bohunslav wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Amirov has hold of Bohunslav's leg, trying to break free but it's let Bohunslav lock up a rear naked choke! This could be big trouble! Amirov is turning an unusual color here… he's out! Bohunslav throws him to one side and jumps onto the cage to celebrate with his fans.
