The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bald clinches up against the cage.
Bald tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
Bald misses with a hook from the clinch.

Hobbesland escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Franek Bald seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bald throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Bald lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hobbesland has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hobbesland and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Hobbesland looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bald is fending him off so far but Hobbesland persists. Nope, Bald circles away and we're back to standing.

Hobbesland closes the distance and pushes Bald back into the cage.
Bald tries to throw a body punch but Hobbesland avoids it by throwing Bald back against the cage.
Bald throws an elbow that misses.

Hobbesland ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hobbesland no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Hobbesland wants to stand and escape but Bald is having none of it.

Bald avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Hobbesland has his foot on Bald's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bald works his way back into a safe position though.

Hobbesland working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bald doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bald manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hobbesland is on top in guard.

Bald is looking to stand back up but Hobbesland counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Bald.
Hobbesland seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Bald does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Bald is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Hobbesland pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Hobbesland swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Bald is now in Hobbesland's guard. A big mistake from Hobbesland there, giving up the dominant position!

Bald tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Hobbesland throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bald was covering up waiting for the punch and Hobbesland finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Well, if Hobbesland is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Bald is defending against the submission attempts here by Hobbesland.
Hobbesland is keen to just control but Bald is a slippery customer.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Bald drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Hobbesland gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Bald is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.

Horrible takedown attempt by Bald or perhaps it was just good defense by Hobbesland, which made it look bad.

Nicolas Hobbesland showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Hobbesland throws a nice inside leg kick.
Hobbesland shoots in for a takedown but Bald shows good takedown defense.
Bald tries to close the distance and clinch but Hobbesland swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
