Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marko Van Bastard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Duncan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Duncan comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Rage Against the Machine & Cypress Hill - How I Could just Kill a Man kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Duncan misses with a hook.
Van Bastard changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Duncan tries to avoid it but Van Bastard manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Duncan to the ground. Duncan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Van Bastard fails with the takedown.
Duncan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Van Bastard is fending him off so far but Duncan persists. Nope, Van Bastard circles away and we're back to standing.
Van Bastard tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Duncan swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Marko Van Bastard. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Duncan has closed the distance and engaged Van Bastard in a clinch.
Duncan lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Van Bastard.
Van Bastard is looking to control Duncan's arms but Duncan gets an underhook and turns him. Now Van Bastard has his back to the cage.

Duncan feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Van Bastard sprawling to the canvas! Van Bastard rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Duncan finish him?!

It looks like Marko Van Bastard has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Duncan throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Duncan steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Van Bastard is out on his feet! Duncan sets himself and nearly takes Van Bastard's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
