The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson misses the body punch
and Koch counters with a straight right hand.
Koch missing with a left hand there. Jackson was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Jackson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Jackson misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Koch.
Jackson looks for a takedown but Koch sprawls well.
Koch is looking for the big counter here.
Jackson closes the distance and clinches up with Koch, looking for a takedown. Jackson pushes Koch against the cage but Koch circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
It seemed like Koch was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Jackson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Koch moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Koch throws a right and a left that Jackson avoids nicely.
Sloppy strikes from Jackson. Those never looked like landing.
Jackson walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

It looks like Austin Jackson has been cut.
Erling Koch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Koch lands a really nice looking cross but Jackson seems unphased.
Koch misses with a series of wild punches.
Jackson swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Koch counters with a straight right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Koch uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Koch bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Jackson's head backwards.
Jackson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Koch as he avoids it easily.
Koch swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Austin Jackson. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jackson dodges the punch combination from Koch.
Jackson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Koch moves away.
Koch scores with a sloppy right hand. Jackson should have avoided that one.
Jackson walks into a straight right hand from Koch.
Koch cracks Jackson with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Oooooh!!! Koch has knocked Jackson down with a huge combo! Koch steps away and waves a wobbly Jackson back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Koch cracks Jackson with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

Jackson is rocked!

Koch ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Koch lands a jab to the nose.
Oh Jackson is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Jackson leaves his chin hanging out and Koch seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Jackson crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
