Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Levi Weber (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bob Barker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Weber comes to the cage accompanied by Blow me Away by Breaking Benjamin. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Levi Weber!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Barker!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weber throws a right and a left that both miss.
Nice uppercut there from Weber.
Weber lands a nice hook to Barker's body. Barker takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
A telegraphed right hand from Weber misses the target.
Barker tries to land a front kick but Weber steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Weber fails to land with a series of punches.
Weber throws a body punch but Barker moves out of range.
Weber looks to throw the jab but Barker is out of range.
Weber thows a body shot but no joy.

Weber throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Barker scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Barker working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Weber lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Weber.
Barker takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Barker takes a swing at Weber's ribcage but misses.
Weber throws a hook to the side of Barker's head but Barker sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Weber throws a right and a left that Barker avoids nicely.
Weber lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Weber throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Levi Weber is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Barker tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Weber swivels and escapes.
Weber throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Barker tries to land a leg kick but Weber saw it coming and moves away.
Weber lands a with a good body shot.
Barker shoots in for a double leg but Weber sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Weber misses the jab.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Barker ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Weber moves away.
Weber displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Barker throws out the jab.

Weber fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Barker manages to avoid it.
Weber connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Weber wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

so Barker counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Barker has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

Weber wants to stand up but Barker is controlling him.

Barker drops back looking for a leg! Weber is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Weber manages to kick Barker off! Barker jumps back into Weber's guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Weber throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Barker swings away with a leg kick that misses.
A combination from Weber does no damage.
Barker moves out of range of the strikes.

Barker decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Weber wants to get back to his feet.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Levi Weber will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!


Barker shoots in looking for a takedown. Weber tries to sprawl out of it but Barker keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Weber manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Weber looks to land a right hand but Barker moved out of range.

and Barker counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Barker is looking to work some ground and pound but Weber has wrist control.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Barker's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Weber knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Barker on the ground.

Barker stops Weber from standing up.

Weber on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Weber tries to get out of the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Barker accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Weber misses with a hook.
Barker uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Weber.
Weber lands an overhand right.

Weber walks into a straight right hand from Barker.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Barker.
Weber scores with a punch to the head.
Barker shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Weber but Weber pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Levi Weber is winning the standup battle so far.
Weber stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Barker.
Weber misses with a double jab.
Levi Weber is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Weber lands a slapping body shot.
Weber thows a left - swing and a miss!
Bob Barker has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Weber checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Weber ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Weber throws a looping overhand right but Barker ducks down to avoid it.
Barker walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Levi Weber.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Weber, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
