Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hubert Oniangue (ranked 5951 p4p, 0 weight class) and Julius Asug (ranked 8215 p4p, 0 weight class). Asug has chosen Star Boy as his entrance music. Julius Asug acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oniangue with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
A solid body kick from Oniangue.
Oniangue fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Asug.
Oniangue keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Hubert Oniangue seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Asug tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Oniangue defends well and Asug ends up having to push Oniangue into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

It looks like Asug might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Asug crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Oniangue - the referee stops the clock and Asug gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Oniangue. Asug manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
