Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Josh West and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mccormick tries to keep at a distance but Ellis has taken the fight into the clinch.
Ellis is trying to break free.
Mccormick is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace.
Mccormick's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Ellis looks to land a combination but Mccormick avoids it well.
And Mccormick counters with a quick kick to the body but Ellis blocks it.
Ellis scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Ellis misses with a double jab.
Mccormick lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Ellis connects with a single shot there.
Ellis throws a leg kick but Mccormick sees it coming and checks it nicely.

Mccormick went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Ellis throws a nice looking combination but Mccormick bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
As Ellis looks to move away, Mccormick throws a big counter combo but Ellis just gets out of the way.

Ellis forces Mccormick back against the cage and clinches.
Mccormick stalling the fight.
Ellis wants to break the clinch but can't.
Mccormick jumps guard but Ellis turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Mccormick drops down looking for an ankle pick but Ellis pulls his leg out and moves away.

Ellis shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Mccormick eats them both and turns towards Ellis to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Ellis drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ellis stops Mccormick from standing up.
Ellis throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Mccormick works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Mccormick wants to hit a switch here but Ellis passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Mccormick there!
Ellis thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.

Mccormick is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Mccormick is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
Ellis has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Mccormick is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Ellis controlling the pace for now.
Ellis throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Mccormick because Ellis loaded up on that one.
Ellis takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Mccormick is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Mccormick is looking to get to half guard.
Ellis misses with a head shot.

Ellis prevents Mccormick from getting the reversal.

Ellis's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
Ellis looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Ellis avoids the attempt from Mccormick to control.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Ellis stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ellis wants it to stay on the feet.
Ellis lands a left and a right that send Mccormick crashing to the mat, dazed. Ellis thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Mccormick is rocked!
Ellis lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Mccormick circles away quickly and effectively.
Oh Mccormick is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ellis lands a nice shot to the body.
Ellis tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Ellis scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Mccormick misses with a takedown attempt
and Ellis rattles Mccormick with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Mccormick tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Ellis dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Mccormick stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Ben Ellis!
