The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garrison gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Lionheart has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Garrison regains guard immediately.
Garrison has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Lionheart is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Lionheart gets control of Garrison's arms and successfully pulls guard. Lionheart will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Lionheart looking to control but Garrison passes into half guard.
Garrison in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Lionheart tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Garrison!
