Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Lou Meatstock!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ickybod Clay!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Edson Gomes and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice takedown defense from Meatstock. No joy for Clay on that attempt.
Horrible takedown by Clay or perhaps it was just good defense by Meatstock which made him look bad.
Clay shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Meatstock pinned against the cage. Meatstock gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Lou Meatstock has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ickybod Clay.
A punch combination from Meatstock misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Clay tries for a takedown but Meatstock sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Clay should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

Clay shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lou Meatstock seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Clay will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Meatstock connects with a body shot.
Clay misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Nice sprawl there from Meatstock as Clay shoots in.

Clay throws a left and a right that both miss
and Meatstock counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Meatstock swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Clay gets the takedown into side control.
Clay tries to advance to mount but can't.
Meatstock manages to get back to half guard.
Clay seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Meatstock does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Clay stalling.

Meatstock trying to control here.
Clay wants to advance to full mount but Meatstock doesn't think that's going to happen and regains full guard instead.
Meatstock looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
Clay stands up out of Meatstock's guard for a moment - Meatstock manages to land a nice upkick.
Meatstock on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Meatstock tries to get out of the position.
Clay trying to control but Meatstock is working from the bottom.
Clay is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Meatstock is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Meatstock keeping moving, preventing Clay from controlling successfully.

Clay gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Meatstock throws a series of punches but Clay avoids them all with ease.
Clay works Meatstock's body with a nice hook.
Meatstock bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Lou Meatstock dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
