Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Viktor Savelyevich Onopko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Scully (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scully shoots in but Onopko avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Scully looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Scully won't allow Onopko to get back to his feet.
Scully postures up in Onopko's guard and throws a big left but Onopko blocks it.
Onopko wants to stand up but Scully is controlling him.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Scully tries for a takedown but Onopko sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Scully misses with a takedown attempt - Onopko sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Onopko throws the left hand but Scully avoids the punch easily.
Scully gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Onopko thuds his right hand into Scully's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Onopko bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Scully's head.

Scully closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Scully lands in his opponent's guard.

Onopko avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Onopko is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Scully trying to control the position from guard on top but Onopko is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Scully is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Onopko wants to get back to his feet but Scully is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Onopko looks to land a right hand but Scully moved out of range.
Scully changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Onopko tries to avoid it but Scully manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Onopko to the ground. Onopko escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Scully walks into a left hand.
Onopko lands an overhand right.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Scully takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Onopko's corner calls for a 1-2. Onopko obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Scully throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Onopko's waist but Onopko gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Scully off to one side.

Scully takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Scully is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Scully takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

Scully with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Onopko to score with a decent uppercut.

Scully takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Onopko lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Scully shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
The fighters circle momentarily. Onopko darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Dan Scully is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Scully shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Onopko as he jumps to the side.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Onopko loads up on a big right hand but Scully slips the punch.
Onopko jabs Scully right on the nose. Scully blinks but takes it well.

Onopko sizes up Scully with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Scully closes the distance and clinches up with Onopko, looking for a takedown. Scully pushes Onopko against the cage but Onopko circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Scully shoots in looking for a takedown. Onopko tries to sprawl out of it but Scully keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Onopko manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Onopko lands with a straight right. Scully didn't see that one coming.
