Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Aaron McGinnis (ranked 433 p4p, 51 weight class) and Kuroda Atsushii (ranked 577 p4p, 68 weight class). McGinnis kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Star.One - Original Badman Feat. Takura & Assassin. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Atsushii moves out of range as McGinnis throws a body kick.
McGinnis misses with an uppercut. Atsushii saw that one coming.
McGinnis tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Atsushii looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Atsushii sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Atsushii throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
McGinnis looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
McGinnis throws a half hearted mid kick.
We've been informed that Atsushii has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Atsushii lands a right hand that snaps the head of McGinnis backwards.

McGinnis lands with a thumping leg kick.
Atsushii throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

McGinnis stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
McGinnis cracks Atsushii with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

McGinnis swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Atsushii flicks out a counter leg kick but McGinnis steps away.
McGinnis lands with a nice body kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

and Atsushii connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Atsushii feints and then cracks McGinnis's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow McGinnis down.

McGinnis tries a low kick but Atsushii avoids it.
Atsushii displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as McGinnis throws out the jab.
McGinnis throws the left hand but Atsushii avoids the punch easily.
A little jabbing left from Atsushii on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Atsushii lands a big head kick that sends McGinnis tumbling to the mat! Atsushii takes a step backwards and waves McGinnis back to his feet - he wants the finish!

McGinnis is rocked!

and Atsushii scores with a counter punch that sends McGinnis to the canvas! Atsushii smells blood - he's punishing McGinnis with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! McGinnis has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
