PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Raven Harris (ranked 2694 p4p, 286 weight class) and Adam Baumann (ranked 1848 p4p, 209 weight class). Baumann has chosen Bombs Over Baghdad as his entrance music. Raven Harris had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 266.4lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Harris walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

It looks like Raven Harris has been cut.
Baumann lands a jab to Harris's midsection.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Baumann has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Harris takes one to the chin there.
Harris looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Baumann looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Baumann cracks Harris with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Harris falls to his knees and Baumann doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
