Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Luka Petricevic (ranked 5619 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chief Bear (ranked 7772 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bear drops his hands momentarily and Petricevic takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

Bear fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Petricevic avoids it really well and circles away.

and Bear counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Bear stops Petricevic from standing up.
Petricevic controls Bear momentarily but Bear frees himself.
Petricevic wants to stand and escape but Bear is having none of it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bear is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

Bear has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at ELITE Island Gym - 19 Elite Coaches. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Bear loads up on a big left hand. Petricevic felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Bear looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Petricevic can't hide his disappointment, as Bear celebrates the victory.
