Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Veijari stuffs the takedown attempt from Skaar. Skaar gets slowly back to his feet.
Skaar shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Veijari but Veijari pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Skaar misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for JohnAmund Skaar. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Skaar closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Skaar lands in his opponent's guard.
Skaar knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Veijari on the ground.
Skaar throwing strikes from guard but Veijari blocks nicely.
Veijari is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Veijari looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Veijari is looking for a triangle but Skaar pushes his legs off easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Skaar pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Veijari is keeping the position for now.

Veijari looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Skaar puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Veijari has hold of Skaar's hands but Skaar slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Veijari is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Skaar's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Skaar's back!
Veijari gets his hands free as Skaar looks to control.
Skaar tries to escape but Veijari has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Skaar trying to control the position but Veijari manages to sink in the hooks.
Veijari working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Skaar is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Veijari has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Skaar taps out!
