Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hank Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Matoi Tsunetski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Hank Couture!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Matoi Tsunetski!
The judges for this bout are Thiago Cunha, Felipe Paraventi and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tsunetski shoots in for a takedown but Couture shows good takedown defense.
Couture throws a right hand that Tsunetski ducks under and follows up with a left that Tsunetski also avoids with ease.
Tsunetski shoots in but Couture avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Couture fails with an attempt to clinch.

Tsunetski feints and as Couture raises his hands in defense, Tsunetski changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Couture has his foot on Tsunetski's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tsunetski works his way back into a safe position though.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Tsunetski has eaten all the pies!

Tsunetski tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Tsunetski has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Couture is pushing Tsunetski's head away, looking to escape. Tsunetski manages to hold on to the position though.

Tsunetski wants to lay and pray for a moment but Couture keeps working.

You get the feeling that Couture really doesn't like being in this position too much.

Tsunetski seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Couture is holding on tight.
Couture is bucking up trying to escape but Tsunetski cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Couture is looking to improve his position but Tsunetski isn't that keen on the idea.

Tsunetski is going olschool here, as he tries to force Couture to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Couture shrugs it off.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Tsunetski gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.

Tsunetski is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Tsunetski gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Tsunetski gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Tsunetski apologises and we restart here on the feet.

Couture's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Matoi Tsunetski showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
