Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Middle Weight (ranked 2674 p4p, 305 weight class) and Jonnhy Eight (ranked 1598 p4p, 202 weight class). Jonnhy Eight will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Weight pushes Eight up against the cage in a clinch.
Weight blocking some punches.
Eight's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Weight can't find room to land a body shot as Eight controls the action.
Weight lands a hook that snaps the head of Eight backwards.
Eight escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Eight slips a jab from Weight.
Eight stalks Weight and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Weight's face. Weight staggers backwards, shaken.
Eight scores with a nice right hand.
A cross from Eight lands.
The fight stays on the outside here - Weight looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Weight takes one on the chin but seems OK.

and Eight counters with a series of strikes that practically lifts Weight off his feet! He tumbles backwards, his head bouncing off the mat - Eight follows up with more strikes before the ref can step in but Weight was out before he hit the floor.
