Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Horato Muchada (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Stewart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Horato Muchada!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Mike Stewart!
The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stewart stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Muchada.
Stewart looks to land a combination but Muchada avoids it well.

Stewart decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Muchada trying to control here.
Stewart is trying to control the action in half guard but Muchada is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Stewart throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Muchada is trying to get back to full guard.
Stewart missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
Muchada is trying to maintain the position but Stewart is very close to passing his half guard.
Muchada is not content to let Stewart control the position.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Stewart shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Muchada as he avoids it easily.
Stewart shoots for a double leg takedown but Muchada sprawls well. He's pushed Stewart's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Muchada shoots in and drives through. Stewart sprawls well.
Muchada shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stewart as he avoids it easily.
Muchada is looking to clinch.
Muchada tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Stewart swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Horato Muchada. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Muchada changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stewart tries to avoid it but Muchada manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stewart to the ground. Stewart escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Muchada tries to close the distance and clinch but Stewart swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Stewart drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Stewart in side control, trying to ground and pound but not landing this time.
An elbow from Stewart crashes against the mat.
Muchada can't do much from the bottom here.
Stewart working the ground and pound but Muchada is defending the strikes.
Muchada managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Stewart.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stewart lands a few punches from side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Muchada manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Muchada wants to control but Stewart is keeping him busy.
Muchada is breathing heavily.
Stewart tries to roll over but Muchada keeps him under control.

Muchada is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Stewart slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Muchada passes into half guard.
Stewart really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Muchada. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Muchada is trying to work for a kimura but Stewart is defending well.
Stewart regains full guard. Nicely done.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Stewart doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Stewart manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Muchada manages to get himself to full guard.
Stewart wants to control from the top but Muchada keeps moving.
Stewart scoring with some ground and pound.
Muchada avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Muchada is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Stewart rolls with it to try and escape but Muchada cranks on the arm and Stewart is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Horato Muchada!
