The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ali instigates a clinch.

Garrison drives through and clinches with Ali against the cage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A head kick misses from Ali.
Garrison tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ali swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Garrison sneaks out the side door and pushes Ali away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Ali closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Garrison's guard.

Garrison has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Ali is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.

Ali fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Garrison to the ground. Ali is now in Garrison's guard.

Garrison is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Ali presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Ali shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ali showed some decent athleticism there.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Ali is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Garrison can't fight it off and eventually Ali manages to take the fight to the floor. Garrison looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Garrison manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Ali keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage.

Garrison has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Ali avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

The fight stays on the outside here - Garrison looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
