Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cyrus Bradley (ranked 25428 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conor OShea (ranked 5901 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Conor OShea!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Phil Schofield and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

OShea gets a takedown into half guard.
Bradley blocking the ground and pound attempt from OShea.
Well, if OShea is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Bradley flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
OShea has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

OShea tries to pass the half guard into mount. Bradley knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.

OShea is looking for a kimura but Bradley is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for OShea to get the leverage.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with OShea in particular looking to stall.
OShea wants to control but Bradley is keeping him busy.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

OShea shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Bradley napping and manages to drive through into side control!

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with OShea in particular looking to stall.

OShea decides to stand up.

OShea throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
OShea fails with an attempt to clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



OShea closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bradley's guard.
Bradley throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Connects with an elbow from the bottom, proving to the judges that he's still active off his back.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from OShea.

Bradley gets caught flat footed, as OShea shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

Bradley wants to sweep here but OShea controlling him for the moment.

OShea drops back looking for a leg! Bradley is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Bradley manages to kick OShea off! OShea jumps back into Bradley's guard.
OShea loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
OShea slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

OShea is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bradley is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

OShea stands up and we're back to a striking position.
OShea has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

OShea shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Bradley's guard.
Bradley is striking but OShea is not phased and passes to half guard.

OShea is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bradley is just riding it out for now. OShea eventually gives up the hold.

OShea looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

OShea wants to control but Bradley is keeping him busy.

Conor OShea showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!


OShea tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Bradley connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Bradley swats away the attempt to clinch by OShea.
Bradley throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around OShea's waist but OShea gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bradley off to one side.
OShea tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bradley shoots in and drives through. OShea sprawls well.

OShea scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
Bradley is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but OShea is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Bradley holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as OShea tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Conor OShea comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well OShea has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
