The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Barlow misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Barlow shoots in but no luck this time.
Barlow throws a leg kick that misses.
Barlow pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Smith throws a big counter head kick but Barlow avoids it with no problem.
Smith checks a leg kick nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Smith displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Barlow.
Barlow really is a fat lump.

Barlow shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Smith manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Smith looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Barlow is defending well. Smith quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Barlow has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Smith celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Joe Smith spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
